When Talking About It Still Isn’t Helping.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a trauma-focused approach that helps people move beyond emotional overwhelm, stuck nervous system patterns, and the exhaustion of carrying experiences the body hasn't fully processed. ART is designed to reduce the emotional intensity of distressing memories without requiring clients to repeatedly relive painful details.
Why Insight Alone Doesn’t Always Create Change.
You may understand why you feel anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, or stuck replaying painful experiences — but still feel unable to fully relax or move forward. Trauma and chronic stress can become stored in the nervous system, keeping the brain and body in patterns of hypervigilance, emotional shutdown, overthinking, or survival mode long after the original experiences have passed.
What Is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a trauma-focused therapy approach designed to help the brain process distressing experiences differently so they no longer feel as emotionally intense, overwhelming, or “stuck.” ART uses eye movements and guided techniques to help clients process difficult experiences without needing to relive every detail or spend years talking about the same pain repeatedly. Many clients describe feeling calmer, emotionally lighter, and less reactive after treatment. Sessions are available for clients located in New York, Georgia, and Ohio.

ART May Help If You’re Experiencing:
Intrusive thoughts or replaying conversations Trauma triggers or emotional overwhelm Feeling constantly “on” or unable to relax Anxiety stored in the body Burnout or nervous system exhaustion Grief, loss, or experiences you haven't been able to fully process Perimenopause-related anxiety or emotional dysregulation

A Calm, Collaborative Approach To Healing.
Many people come to ART feeling skeptical — they've tried therapy before and are cautious about starting something new. The process is collaborative, paced entirely around your comfort level, and designed so you remain in control throughout. You don't need to describe every detail of what happened. You just need to be willing to show up.
What Healing Can Start To Feel Like.
Fewer intrusive thoughts or emotional triggers Feeling calmer and less emotionally reactive Improved sleep and nervous system regulation Less replaying conversations or painful experiences More confidence in situations that once felt overwhelming Feeling more present, connected, and grounded ART is designed to help clients process distressing experiences in a way that feels structured, collaborative, and emotionally manageable throughout the therapy process.
